EVNHANOI has held many meetings to review and ensure its sufficient operations.
Closely following its 2026 production, business and investment plan, the Hanoi Power Corporation (EVNHANOI) is actively implementing a series of key power grid projects from the beginning of the year to enhance supply capacity and meet the capital's socio-economic development needs.
At construction sites, work has been progressing rapidly since the early days of the year, with contractors mobilizing manpower, machinery and equipment to carry out multiple project components simultaneously.
At several 110kV substations and transmission line projects, foundation construction, steel structure installation and cable connections are being implemented according to schedule.
Under the plan, EVNHANOI will continue investing in 220kV and 110kV grid infrastructure to improve transmission capacity and ensure safe system operation.
The corporation is focusing on new projects such as the Long Bien 2 220kV substation, Soc Son 2 220kV substation and Chuong My 220kV substation, along with synchronized transmission lines, helping strengthen power supply in areas with rapidly growing demand.

In addition to new construction, EVNHANOI is upgrading existing substations to meet increasing load demands, including capacity expansion at Phu Nghia 110kV substation and Hai Boi 110kV substation.
Project management boards and contractors are intensifying efforts by deploying more resources and equipment to implement construction, steel assembly and installation tasks.
Many projects are progressing in line with plans to be put into operation soon, meeting the capital's rising electricity demand.
EVNHANOI regularly conducts site inspections and coordinates with consultants and contractors to promptly resolve challenges during implementation.
At the same time, strict attention is paid to occupational safety, equipment quality control and construction progress management to ensure projects are completed on schedule.

To accelerate progress, the corporation has strengthened coordination with departments, sectors and local authorities in investment preparation, site clearance and legal procedures. Many management solutions and digital technologies were applied to monitor progress and ensure quality across projects.
Accelerating power grid investment from the beginning of the year is identified as a key task for EVNHANOI in 2026. Once completed, these projects will enhance electricity supply capacity, improve system stability and meet growing demand in new urban areas, industrial zones and key economic regions of Hanoi.
