The Hanoi People's Council on July 10 approved personnel changes and elected four additional members to the municipal People's Committee for the 2021–2026 term.
The Council officially relieved three officials of their duties as members of the Hanoi People's Committee following their appointments to new positions.
These include Nguyen Quoc Duyet, former Commander of the Hanoi Capital Command; Nguyen Hong Son, former Director of the Hanoi Department of Science and Technology; and Nguyen Nguyen Quan, former Acting Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Ethnic and Religious Affairs.
To fill the vacancies, the council elected four new members to the Hanoi People's Committee.
They are Major General Dao Van Nhan, Commander of the Hanoi Capital Command; Le Thanh Nam, Chief of the Office of the Hanoi People's Committee; Tran Anh Tuan, Director of the Hanoi Department of Science and Technology; and Nguyen Sy Truong, Director of the Hanoi Department of Ethnic and Religious Affairs.
