The Hanoi Department of Tourism has launched a special tourism promotion program themed "Hanoi Residents and Tourists Experience 4-5 Star Hotel Services in 2025" to boost tourism and economy.

The initiative aims to give both local residents and visitors the opportunity to enjoy high-quality hospitality services at attractive prices, especially during off-peak periods and major holidays.

According to the Hanoi Department of Tourism, the program will boost occupancy rates at upscale hotels and stimulate demand across related sectors such as transportation, food and beverage, retail, and entertainment.

It also aligns with the national campaign "Vietnamese People Prioritize Using Vietnamese Goods" and the growing trend of local travel and staycations.

Many 4-5 star hotels across the city have introduced diverse and unique promotional packages. These include not only accommodation but also value-added services such as fine dining, spa treatments, sightseeing tours, airport transfers, and business event support.

Outstanding offerings include the "Enchanted Holiday" package at the Metropole Hotel, which combines luxurious accommodation with a complimentary historical tour of the hotel's wartime bomb shelter guided by its in-house historian.

Novotel Hanoi Thai Ha and Novotel Suites Hanoi have introduced a "Hanoi Harmony Package" for families, featuring one-night stays, breakfast and dinner for two adults and two children.

Other hotels are offering deep discounts, such as Lotte Hotel Hanoi with 40% off room rates and L7 Westlake Hotel offering up to 50% off in June. Hotels like Pan Pacific, JW Marriott, and InterContinental Westlake are also rolling out attractive room, dining, and wellness combos.

These packages are designed not only for relaxation but also to encourage guests to discover nearby cultural, historical, and culinary highlights, often overlooked in typical travel itineraries.

The program also includes a special series of activities and offers during Vietnam Family Week from June 22-29, with peak promotions on June 28. During this period, hotels will launch exclusive family-friendly packages with discounts of up to 50%, including a wide range of relaxation, wellness, and entertainment options for both adults and children.

The Department of Tourism emphasized that this is an opportunity for families to bond while discovering and enjoying their own city. The campaign also aims to shape a new trend of urban tourism, a promising yet underdeveloped segment in Hanoi.

The department will carry out an integrated media campaign to boost awareness of the program. Promotion will span various platforms, helping raise the profile of hotels, resorts, and Hanoi as a modern, high-quality, and welcoming destination.

Hanoi expects strong cooperation among tourism associations, airlines, travel agencies, accommodations, attractions, and service providers to implement the program. By developing all-inclusive packages, the initiative will make it easier for customers to access services while maximizing the city's tourism potential.

The Hanoi Department of Tourism is calling for support from the media and tourism-related organizations to jointly promote the campaign, which is designated to serve as a key driver for the capital's tourism sector in 2025, a pivotal year for accelerating growth in the years to come.

In 2025, Hanoi targets 31 million visitors, including over 7.5 million international arrivals, and aims to earn more than VND130 trillion (US$5 billion) in revenue, contributing significantly to the city's goal of over 8% economic growth.
