HN contributes to building ASEAN cultural and social community

VGP – Ha Noi will implement activities to build cultural, integrated, and equal community, serving to protect human rights and sustainable community.

Under Plan 188/KH-UBND of the Ha Noi municipal People’s Committee on implementation and realization of the ASEAN cultural and social community by 2025, the local authorities will build an integrated community in favor of people’s benefits.

The plan aims to boost regional cooperation to preserve and manage biodiversity and natural resources; strictly control production contamination; encourage people and enterprises to consume clean and renewable energy; enable clean and environmentally-friendly products.

The document targets to protect the environment; treat polluted lakes; and educate people on environmental protection.

The city will implement the Strategy on green growth, environmental protection, sustainable development, and the Action Plan in response to climate change.

Ha Noi w ill speed up projects on environmental protection especially on sewage treatment at industrial zones and complexes, trade villages./.
