Under the direction of the Hanoi Federation of Labor and in coordination with the Hanoi Department of Transport, seven compassionate buses organized by the Trade Union of Hanoi's Industrial and Export Processing Zones departed early on February 2 (the fifth day of the Lunar New Year, At Ty) to the provinces of Thanh Hoa and Nghe An. Their mission was to transport 400 workers from these provinces back to Hanoi for work after celebrating the Tet holiday with their families.

The Hanoi Association of the Elderly in 2024 established 171 new Intergenerational Self-Help Clubs, bringing the total number of such clubs in the city to 493 across the city.
