Capital tightens wine management and business

VGP – The Ha Noi municipal People’s Committee has asked departments, sectors, and unions to implement Decree 105/2017/ND-CP, dated September 14, 2017 on wine business.

Specifically, the People’s Committee tasked the Department of Industry and Trade to implement measures on hygiene food safety on wine production and business.

The Ha Noi Market Management Department was assigned to investigate and inspect wine production sites and destroy unsafe wine.

Relevant departments, agencies, and People’s Committees at district level are responsible for disseminating and supervising food safety in restaurants, food and street food stores and investigating wine-caused poisoning cases in the city.

The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development was asked to tighten management of wine producers.

Public security forces were assigned to work with competent departments and agencies to control wine food safety and trace source of poisoned alcohol; and put infringement cases to trial.

The Department of Information and Communications was asked to work with the Ministry of Health , the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and relevant agencies to disseminate the Law on Alcohol Harm Prevention and Decree 105/2017/ND-CP, dated September 14, 2017 on alcohol sales./.
