Deputy Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Duong Duc Tuan chairs a meeting to check on Chuong My Ward and five other communes' preparations for their Party congresses.
Delegation No. 13 of the Hanoi Party Committee on July 29 check on preparations for the upcoming Party Congresses in Chuong My Ward and five communes of Phu Nghia, Xuan Mai, Tran Phu, Hoa Phu, and Quang Bi.
The working session was chaired by Duong Duc Tuan, Member of the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee and Deputy Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee, who is also head of the delegation.
Attending the session were Vu Ha, Permanent Deputy Head of the Party Committee's Commission for Information, Education and Mass Mobilization, along with other delegation members.
At the session, the ward and commune leaders reported on the implementation of Directive No. 45-CT/TW dated April 14, 2025, issued by the Politburo, and Plan No. 329-KH/TU dated May 15, 2025, of the Hanoi Party Committee.
According to Nguyen Van Thang, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Chuong My Ward, the Party organization has 3,023 members organized into 113 local party units, including 6 grassroots-level Party Committees, 56 grassroots-level Party Cells, and 51 subordinate Party Cells.
As of July 27, 100% of Party Committees and Cells had held their congresses or meetings as planned.
The ward Party Committee has completed the draft Political Report for its first-term Congress (2025-2030) and held meetings to gather feedback.
The congress is scheduled for August 14-15 with the participation of 178 official delegates and 117 alternate delegates.
The ward has identified five major tasks for the 2025-2030 term.
Accordingly, Chuong My will promote economic growth based on science, technology, innovation and digital transformation, and accelerate urban and rural planning and development.
Local authorities will also perform efficient land and resource management with environmental protection, improve quality of life through cultural and social development, and strengthen Party and political system reform for greater efficiency and effectiveness.
Trinh Tien Tuong, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Phu Nghia Commune, said that the local Party Congress is scheduled for August 8-9 with 165 official delegates and 72 alternates.
The commune has followed Guidance No. 10-HD/TU dated June 26, 2025, from the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee, and has completed the draft Political Report and Congress Resolution.
Its overarching goal for 2030 is to promote rapid and sustainable economic growth with a focus on industry, trade, services, and craft villages, and build a cultured and humane local identity.
Other targets include implementing green and digital transformation, modernizing infrastructure, and maintaining political stability and public security.
According to Hoang Minh Hien, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Xuan Mai Commune, the local Party organization comprises 75 Party units.
Preparation for the upcoming congress has followed proper procedures, with well-structured and comprehensive documents. Public feedback on the draft documents has been collected democratically.
The congress is planned for August 16-17 with 235 official delegates and 80 alternates.
Nguyen Nguyen Hung, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Tran Phu Commune, said that the local Party organization has 58 Party units with 1,376 members.
Since July 1, 2025, the commune has set up four subcommittees and three drafting teams for the congress documents. As of now, 57 of 58 Party units have completed their internal congresses, with only the local police unit pending.
The draft Political Report is being revised for final approval. The Party Congress is scheduled for August 17-18 with 229 official delegates and 58 alternates.
To Thi Nhan, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairwoman of the People's Council of Hoa Phu Commune, said that the commune has swiftly organized internal Party meetings in accordance with regulations since July 1, 2025.
The commune has strictly followed Directive 45 and Plan 239. Tasks for the Congress have been clearly assigned based on the principles of clear responsibilities, deadlines, and expected outcomes.
The draft Political Report has reached its second version. The congress is scheduled for August 18-19 with 186 official delegates.
Nguyen Truong Nang, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Quang Bi Commune, reported that preparations have been thorough and in line with regulations.
Political and social order remains stable. The commune's Party Congress is scheduled for August 19-20 with 189 official delegates.
After hearing the reports and comments from the communes and delegation members, Deputy Chairman Tuan praised the efforts made by the six localities in carrying out their tasks on time and in accordance with guidelines.
He also emphasized that the preparation of documents and other congress content must strictly comply with instructions from the central government and the Hanoi Party Committee.
Tuan highlighted the importance of the Political Report and urged a careful analysis of breakthroughs and focus areas based on four key pillars outlined in Resolutions No. 57, 59, 66, and 68 issued by the central government.
