The document details the implementation of Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh's directive under Official Letter No. 6741/VPCP-KGVX dated July 21, 2025.
The Hanoi People's Committee has assigned relevant departments and agencies, including Tourism, Agriculture and Environment, Finance, Construction, Culture and Sports, Health, Industry and Trade, the City Police, the Hanoi Tourism Corporation, and ward- and commune-level People's Committees, to act in line with their respective functions and responsibilities.
These tasks include strengthening the management of tourist destinations, closely monitoring developments, and promptly addressing emerging issues.

In parallel, the directive calls for improving the overall tourism environment, ensuring public security, environmental hygiene, and food safety. Authorities are required to step up inspections and strictly deal with violations such as price gouging, scams, fraud, and unauthorized tour guiding.
Efforts should also focus on improving feedback and support channels, such as hotlines, support centers, and smart tourism apps, to promptly address complaints, enhance oversight, and ensure the safety of visitors.
For issues beyond their jurisdiction, agencies must report through the Department of Tourism for consolidation and submission to the Hanoi People's Committee and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism for resolution in accordance with regulations.
