Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Truong Viet Dung has signed Decision No. 2147/QD-UBND, dated April 22, 2026, promulgating the investment regulations for the Hanoi Venture Capital Fund.

Politburo Member, Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee and Head of the Hanoi National Assembly Delegation Tran Duc Thang on the afternoon of April 19 continued his on-site inspections of major infrastructure projects in the capital, including the Me So Bridge-Component Project 3 of the Ring Road 4 – Hanoi Capital Region Investment Project; the Ngoc Hoi Bridge and its approach roads; and the Ring Road 2.5 project.

Vu Dai Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee, and Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee, on April 7, received a delegation from Central Trading & Development (CT&D) Group, Taiwan (China), led by Chairman Arthur Ting, for discussions on areas of mutual cooperation.

On April 6, Vu Dai Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee and Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee, received a delegation from the Lao Ministry of Agriculture and Environment led by Linkham Douangsavanh, member of the Party Central Committee and Minister of Agriculture and Environment of Laos.

On April 3, Nguyen Duy Ngoc, Politburo member, Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee and Head of the Hanoi Steering Committee on anti-corruption, wastefulness and misconduct, chaired the first-quarter 2026 meeting.

On March 31, Vu Dai Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee and Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee, received a delegation from The Asia Group (TAG) led by Daniel Kritenbrink, member of the company's Board of Directors and former US Ambassador to Vietnam.

On March 27, at the fifth conference of the Hanoi Party Committee, Nguyen Xuan Luu, member of the Standing Board of the Hanoi Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee, presented the city's five-year medium-term public investment plan for 2026–2030.

Closely following its 2026 production, business and investment plan, the Hanoi Power Corporation (EVNHANOI) is actively implementing a series of key power grid projects from the beginning of the year to enhance supply capacity and meet the capital's socio-economic development needs.

Standing Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Duong Duc Tuan has signed Decision No. 1127/QD-UBND dated March 13, 2026 approving the bidding documents for the investment project to build the Nam Chinh Urban Area in Phu Xuyen Commune, Hanoi.

On March 5, Party Central Committee member, Vice Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee and Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Vu Dai Thang chaired a conference reviewing public investment activities.
