The 2025 Thematic Exhibition of Handicrafts, OCOP Products, and Outstanding Rural Industrial Products in the Ceramic and Lacquerware Sector officially opened at 9:30 a.m. on June 17.

Running from June to July 2025, the exhibition is held at the Hanoi OCOP Product Showcase and Promotion Center, located at 176 Quang Trung Street, Quang Trung Ward, Ha Dong District. It is open daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

This is the first event in a series of thematic exhibitions to be held in 2025, featuring handicrafts, OCOP (One Commune, One Product) goods, and typical rural industrial products of Hanoi.

It focuses on showcasing and promoting innovative, newly designed products in the pottery and lacquerware industries, created by local artisans, experts, and young designers.

The exhibition aims to support local businesses and rural producers in the pottery and lacquerware sector by introducing them to new designs that can be adopted for mass production, helping them meet evolving market demands and develop new products.

Covering an area of nearly 500 square meters, the exhibition features more than 320 unique handcrafted items from Hanoi's creative villages.

The display space is carefully designed with an open layout to ensure a pleasant, aesthetic, and friendly experience for visitors and business partners alike.

Visitors will have the chance to admire exquisite works of high artistic value, crafted by skilled artisans and master craftsmen.

The exhibition also serves as a learning and networking platform for artists and designers to exchange experiences, discuss techniques, and explore opportunities for practical application and export development.

In addition to viewing the displayed works, attendees can participate in trade promotion and networking activities that connect pottery and lacquerware makers with buyers and other OCOP product creators in the capital.

The event encourages and guides designers to create products that are both functional and artistic, supporting Hanoi's handicraft and rural industrial enterprises in diversifying their offerings and improving their competitiveness.

The exhibition will also strengthen links between designers, artisans, manufacturers, distributors, and consumers, while promoting iconic traditional craft products from Hanoi's districts and towns to a broader audience.

Furthermore, it contributes to the city's creative design sector, raises awareness among rural industrial producers about the importance of design and cultural industries, and supports Hanoi's socio-economic development goals.

The exhibition also opens up opportunities for business cooperation between domestic and international experts, organizations, and enterprises in the fields of design and creative industries.
