The delegation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi, its member organizations, and people from all walks of life in the capital congratulate the Hanoi Party Committee.
The city has continued to develop and thrive, solidifying its position as the heart of the nation, the country's political-administrative center, and a hub for culture, science, education, economy, and international trade. Efforts to strengthen Party organization, political governance, and anti-corruption initiatives have yielded concrete results, earning public trust and support.
Hanoi has focused on unlocking resources and proposing breakthrough policies and mechanisms to leverage its advantages for rapid and sustainable development. The city aims to become a smart, green, clean, safe, and modern urban center.
Throughout this 95-year journey, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Hanoi and its member organizations have closely followed the Party Committee's leadership, serving as a unifying force for national solidarity and successfully mobilizing citizens in labor, innovation, and the collective effort to build and develop the capital.
"The people of Hanoi take great pride in the revolutionary tradition and the remarkable achievements of the city. At the same time, they express deep gratitude for the wise leadership, sacrifices, and dedication of generations of the Party Committee's leaders over the years," said Huong.
Entering its 95th year, the Hanoi Party Committee faces both new opportunities and challenges. The Vietnam Fatherland Front and its member organizations, along with the city's people, firmly believe that under the Party Committee's leadership, with the solidarity of the entire political system and all social classes, Hanoi will overcome difficulties and successfully accomplish its political missions. Officials, Party members, and residents of the capital are determined to harness their dynamism, creativity, and deep love for Hanoi, working together to transform the city into a truly civilized, modern capital. The vision is for Hanoi to become a globally connected metropolis with high living standards, a strong quality of life, and a happy society.
Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Nguyen Van Phong expressed his pleasure in welcoming the delegation from the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Hanoi, its member organizations, and representatives of the city's residents on the occasion of the Party Committee's 95th anniversary.
Phong noted that while 95 years may be a relatively short span compared to Hanoi's thousand-year history, it represents a historically significant period in the city's development. He highlighted Hanoi as a place where the finest values of spirit and culture converge. It was here that the first Party cell and the Indochinese Communist Party were established, as well as the provisional Hanoi Party Committee. The city's first Party Secretary, Do Ngoc Du, was also a Hanoi native.
Despite facing severe repression, Hanoi's Party Committee remained resilient. Through some of the most challenging historical periods, the city's revolutionary movement endured. The year 2025 will mark the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution's success, a profoundly significant event for the capital. Looking back over the past 95 years, in every historical phase, the Party Committee has led the people to achieve important milestones, making substantial contributions to the broader revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation.

Hanoi and the entire country are now at a pivotal moment, entering a new era of prosperity and development, where people's well-being and happiness are top priorities. According to Nguyen Van Phong, one of the most crucial factors behind the Party Committee's achievements has been the unwavering support, trust, and unity of the people, which the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Hanoi has played a key role in fostering. He expressed his hope that, carrying forward the traditions of Thang Long-Hanoi, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Hanoi and the city's people will continue to stand by the Party Committee, preserving and promoting the values that have been cultivated over the city's millennia-old history.
