Firework display demonstration for " The homeland in our hearts " program
The Hanoi People's Committee on July 24 issued Plan No. 198/KH-UBND on organizing a fireworks display as part of the political-artistic program "The Homeland in Our Hearts," to be held in the capital.
The event aims to create a festive atmosphere and strengthen patriotism and unity among Hanoi's residents in celebration of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 – August 19, 2025) and National Day (September 2, 1945 – September 2, 2025).
The fireworks show will take place from 10:00 to 10:08 p.m. on August 10, 2025, at the F1 racetrack area in Tu Liem Ward.
The eight-minute display will include 300 high-altitude fireworks and 60 low-level firework racks. The program will be funded with VND1 billion (US$38,000) sourced from social contributions.
The Hanoi Capital Command will take charge of organizing the fireworks display, including transporting equipment and preparing the launch site.
The Hanoi Department of Public Security will coordinate to ensure public security, fire prevention, and firefighting throughout the event. It will also prepare a detailed budget for approval by the city.
In addition, the police will develop and implement plans for security, traffic control, and fire safety. Traffic will be rerouted as needed, and the launch area will be secured before, during, and after the fireworks show.
