Hanoi deputies vote to approve the list of 148 land areas for real estate development.
Accordingly, the council approved a list of 148 land plots with a total area of approximately 840.36 hectares. Of this, about 169.54 hectares are rice-growing land.
The Hanoi People's Committee will publicly announce and publish the list of land plots for pilot projects on the city's official portal. The Department of Agriculture and Environment will also publish it on its website.
The city will issue a notice approving eligible real estate businesses to implement pilot projects. It will also instruct the Department of Agriculture and Environment to announce any projects that do not meet the criteria for inclusion.
If there are additional real estate businesses proposing land plots that meet the conditions in Clause 1, Article 4 of Resolution No.171/2024/QH15, the Hanoi People's Committee will direct the Department of Agriculture and Environment to proceed under Article 4 of Decree No.75/2025/ND-CP dated April 1, 2025, to propose additions to the pilot project land list.
The Hanoi People's Committee will direct the Department of Agriculture and Environment and other relevant agencies to carry out land, housing, investment, construction, real estate, and related legal procedures in accordance with the law and within appropriate timelines.
This resolution takes effect from the date of adoption until March 31, 2030.
According to the Economic and Budget Committee of the People's Council reported that the Council's committees highly appreciated the city's strong direction and the urgent coordination by departments, sectors, and working groups in reviewing and compiling the list of land plots for pilot commercial housing projects.
These projects are implemented through land-use right agreements or existing land-use rights as guided by central authorities.
This decision reflects Hanoi's strong commitment to resolving obstacles in real estate, increasing housing and land supply, and contributing to the goal of strong economic growth in 2025 and the following years.
