According to report of the Ha Noi Metropolitan Railway Management Board, Line 3 (section Nhon – Ha Noi Station) is 12.5 kilometers long with 4 kilometers and four stations underground. Around 16,000 square meters must be withdrawn for the project, of which around 4,000 square meters in Ba Dinh, Dong Da and Hoan Kiem Districts.
To implement the project in line with schedule committed with foreign sponsors, Vice Chairman Nguyen Quoc Hung asked Department of Construction to announce structure of resettlement houses by December 31, and districts to complete land clearance by April 30, 2016. The Department was also required to temporally move trees out of project area and put them back once completed; all information must be publicized.
Contractors were urged to speed up construction of stations as well as overhead railroads and move works out of construction sites. Department of Transport was asked to review construction and traffic arrangement plan, striving to remove barriers on Xuan Thuy – Cau Giay Streets and prevent traffic jam.
Purchase of equipments and issuance of cards, tickets must be accelerated, so that the urban railway service can be launched in 2019.
