According to HTSC, due to a long Tet holiday with nine days off, the number of passengers leaving Ha Noi for their hometowns and vice versa is expected to increase sharply, particularly at the inter-provincial stations such as Giap Bat, Gia Lam, My Dinh, and Yen Nghia and those alongside National Routes No. 1, 3, 5, 6 and 32.

During the holiday (from February 6-14), the corporation will allocate 2,335 buses running through the inner-city areas and to the suburbs to serve the needs of the capital’s residents.

The company will also co-ordinate with other transport enterprises to reduce overload and ease traffic congestion before and after the holiday./.
