According to the plan, the Hanoi People’s Committee requests the Department of Agricultural and Rural Development as responsible agency in organizing the event. The festival is scheduled to be held at  Exhibition Fair,  Economic and Commercial Transaction Center at No. 489 Hoang Quoc Viet Street (Cau Giay District) in 5 days in December 2019. There will be around 330 stalls.

The exhibition area will be designed, set up and divided in sections,  introducing safe farm products and potential items which are available in OCOP program of Hanoi. Priority is given to safe agricultural products, agricultural products in made in chain and processed farm items.

Apart from farm products of Hanoi, it will display other items, such as ornamental plants, farm products of other cities and provinces of Vietnam, products of craft villages.

The commercial area will feature machines and supplies for organic farm production, high-tech agriculture and agro-ecotourism.

Other activities to be held in the framework of the festival are opening ceremony, communications, promotion, introduction of products and thematic workshops, focusing on application of high technology in agricultural production, connection in the field of production and consumption of farm products.

The festival will also feature Hanoi’s achievements in terms of agriculture and rural development, create favorable conditions for enterprises, manufacturers, businesses and localities to introduce their products, especially OCOP products.

By launching activities in the festival, Hanoi expects to support the connection between production and consumption, seek opportunities to cooperate with domestic and international organizations, individuals and enterprises, and transfer technology for agriculture and rural development.
