Accordingly, the municipal People’s Committee approved the proposal of the Department of Education and Training to end the academic year earlier than originally planned to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
The remaining tasks for the school year will be done when the pandemic is put under control and the students could return to school.
The municipal People’s Committee also agreed with the department’s proposal on holding final exams. The department requested schools that have not held final exams not to hold exams online. The exams will be organized when the pandemic abates.
The city ordered online schooling for 9th and 12th-grade students until May 28.
The entrance exams for high school for 9th graders will not be held until further notice from the Ministry of Education and Training.
The Department of Education and Training is assigned to take prime responsibility and work with relevant units to guide Division of Education and Training, and schools to carry out the adjusted studying plan.
