Under the document, the Communication and Education Commission said the move is aimed at raising awareness among the public on the fight against corruption and waste.
The Commission requested related local agencies, the Vietnam Fatherland Front - Hanoi chapter, and socio-political organizations to actively participate in the third national press award for the fight against corruption and waste, in turn contributing to the realization of resolutions of all-level Party congresses, especially on enhancing Party building and political strength within the Party to fight against waste and corruption.
The city’s press association is tasked with providing training for reporters on writing about corruption and waste topic; helping them to produce high quality works to vie for the national press award.
Meanwhile, all press organizations in Hanoi are encouraged to take part in the 3rd national press award for the 2020-2021 period, and is tasked with providing information on the guidance of the award.
During the process of promoting the event, press should highlight the vision and policies of the Party and the government in the fight against corruption and waste; the role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the people and the press in the fight; inconvenience that the people and enterprises are facing in realizing administrative procedures; achievements and results so far in the fight against corruption and waste in Hanoi; promoting outstanding examples in the fight against corruption and waste.
