Under the announcement, leaders of People’s Committees at districts and wards are responsible for the effectiveness of the Covid-19 testing and monitoring processes of people returning from pandemic-stricken areas. Regarding this process, local authorities should set up list of people subject for monitoring for efficient testing and isolation.
The Department of Health and related authorities are required to prepare sufficient Covid-19 testing kits to provide for districts and wards in a timely-manner. All public and private hospitals in Hanoi should be active in storing testing kits for emergency use.
People’s Committees in districts and wards should enhance supervision activities regarding catering services in local areas to ensure effective anti-Covid-19 measures, while giving strict punishment to those violating anti-Covid-19 regulations.
At present, Hanoi’s authorities requested all street-food stores, café, karaoke parlors, games centers, among others to temporally close to prevent potential spread of Covid-19 pandemic.
The authorities also called for public participation in identifying people returning from the Covid-19 hit areas, requesting all people in subject to declare health information, while those providing false or inaccurate information would be subject to strict punishment.
All industrial and production parks in Hanoi should set up specific plans regarding Covid-19 anti-efforts, while strictly follow instructions from local authorities regarding this issue.
