Hanoi steps up promotion for campaign “Vietnamese using Vietnamese products” in 2020 (10:55 19/02/2020)
The promotion would reflect on 10 years of implementing the campaign, as well as its impacts on socio-economic development of Hanoi in 2019; the implementation of the Party’s instruction on economic development and key measures to control inflation rate, stabilizing macro-economic conditions and social welfare; measures to address difficulties for the business community, expand markets and attract investment capital; action plans of the municipal Party Committee and of Hanoi People’s Committee to fulfill socio-economic development targets of Hanoi in 2020, among others.
The Steering Committee on the campaign of Hanoi would instruct related departments and units to actively participate in the promotion; highlight efficient models of districts and communes; raise awareness of the public regarding consumer rights and the Law on Consumer Protection; help consumers to determine product quality and launch activities such as “World Consumers Rights Day” on March 15 and “Promotion month in Hanoi”, among others.
The campaign would encourage enterprises to revise technology and improve product quality with reasonable price; expand sales spots; promote business and production activities; control inflation and ensure social welfare; build trust of the public in socio-economic development polices of the government and the city.
The Commission for Communication and Education requested the promotional activities must closely reflect the actual practices of each organization, department, unit, mobilizing resources and personnel for greater efficiency of the operation and creating a solid platform for the realization of socio-economic development targets in each locality.
