In addition, the Office and relevant units would advise the municipal People's Committee to set up the objectives related to the development of online public services to each units and localities in 2022, aiming to achieve the goals stated in the action plan of the National Committee on Digital Transformation in 2022.
The Hanoi People's Committee assigned the Department of Information and Communication to research, advise and organize the implementation of the task of propagating, guiding and supporting people in implementing digital transformation.
The local authorities are expected to raise public awareness about the benefits of using online public services through reducing application processing time, cutting fees for performing online public services.
In addition, Hanoi would further work on simplifying administrative procedures and reducing paperwork for people and businesses, so that they would only have to provide data once to state agencies when performing online public services.
