Participation of the program would include shopping malls, super markets, grocery stores, restaurants, consumer businesses, companies in telecom, construction, e-commerce, IT, transportation, tourism, among others.
The scope of the program would be around 1,000 - 1,200 points of sales, with events such as “E-commerce – connecting supply and demand”, the launch of “Hanoi’s sales promotion month” and “Cashless payment day”; event “4.0 Consumption day”; “Tourism Promotion day”; “Golden Promotion Exhibition”; as well as the online Friday 2020 initiated by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, among others.
The program is expected to attract local people, domestic and foreign tourists to buy goods and products with high quality and at reasonable prices, which come under various promotion programs. Moreover, this would stimulate private consumption through traditional and e-commerce activities, in turn creating difference compared to single promotion event held by each company.
According to the organizer, the program would also boost production and competitiveness of the business community; integrate with modern technologies from the Industry 4.0; realizing the role of state authorities in stabilizing prices of goods and products, a key step in controlling inflation rate and ensuring social security.
As a result, the program is expected to contribute to the Hanoi’s objectives for socio-economic development for this year.
