Under the announcement, the districts are tasked to identify and make a list of people directly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic to support them.
The Department of Health in collaboration with the Center of Disease Control will continue conducting coronavirus tests for the remaining cases related to Bach Mai Hospital while striving to finish sampling Ha Loi villagers (Me Linh commune, Me Linh district) before April 13.
Moreover, the two agencies will work with Hanoi Kidney Hospital to perform COVID-19 testing for the hospital’s medical staff while cooperating with local authorities to conduct rapid tests for task forces at checkpoints. Besides, COVID-19 tests will also be implemented for cases who are being arrested before bringing them to custody houses.
The municipal authority assigned the Department of Health and the Center for Disease Control (CDC) to urgently prepare full medical equipment and facilities for the work of disease prevention and control in the city.
According to the announcement, Chairman Nguyen Duc Chung asked the Capital High Command to continue tightening the management and taking care of isolated people. Meanwhile, the Department of Industry and Trade is tasked to coordinate with the Market Surveillance Sub-Department and the Municipal Police to enhance inspection to combat counterfeit goods, smuggled goods and trade fraud.
He urged the Hanoi Police to launch campaigns against crimes in the city.
Chung requested People’s Committees of Me Linh district and Me Linh commune to jointly organize the collection of samples for COVID-19 tests for all local residents, delivery donations in transparent manner and ensure the supply of food for the people.
Chung also asked the People’s Committee of North Tu Liem district to cooperate with relevant parties to sample those trading flowers in the area for coronavirus testing.
