Thach That urged to focus on building a new-style rural district (09:10 25/02/2020)


HNP - The Hanoi Party Committee issued Announcement No. 2479-TB/TU on February 10, stating the conclusion of its Permanent Deputy Secretary Ngo Thi Thanh Hang who is also head of the Steering Committee on Program 02-CTr/TU at the working session with Thach That District to review the implementation of the program. 


Regarding major tasks in the time ahead, Thach That District needs to focus on finishing the rice cultivation before February 25, 2020.
 
In addition, the district is tasked to take drastic actions to prevent the spread of the acute respiratory disease COVID-19  while mobilizing all Party cells, authorities, political and social organizations and local people to join the fight against avian flu epidemic, ensuring stability of locals’ lives as well as social order and safety. 
 
Under the announcement, Thach That District will continue strengthening the communication to encourage all Party cells, Fatherland Front Committees, social - political organizations and people to join hands in building new style rural areas. 
 
Especially, the district is requested to complete and submit application for the recognition of new style rural area title in the second quarter of the year. 
 
Besides, Head of the Steering Committee on Program 02-CTr/TU Ngo Thi Thanh Hang urged Thach That to pay special attention to restructuring plants and animals, promoting hi-tech application and agricultural mechanization. 
 
It is necessary for the district to expand concentrated production areas as planned, and encourage enterprises and households to apply new technologies in farming. 
 
The announcement also underlined the need for the district to call on enterprises, organizations and locals to contribute to the new style rural area building while developing craft villages, industrial parks and clusters in the area, and offering solutions to ensure safe environment in craft villages. 
 
Hang also asked Thach That to draw up a plan to fulfill the target of having 15,000 agricultural cooperatives and cooperative alliances operating effectively by 2020 in Hanoi,  implement the Government’s Decree No. 98/2018/ND-CP dated July 5, 2018 on preferential policies to enhance cooperation and links in producing and consuming farm produce.
 
She asked the district to observe the Decision No. 13/2019/QD-UBND dated June 14, 2019 of the Hanoi People’s Committee on decentralizing approving authority of the development support for cooperation and connection in farming production and consumption in Hanoi. 
 
At the same time, Thach That is requested to continue effectively executing the “One commune, One product” (OCOP) program as instructed by the Prime Minister and the Municipal People’s Committee, with the focus on developing key products as well as tourism services in the area.
