Accordingly, the two localities will share experience in the Party building work, such as disseminating and realizing Directives, Resolutions and latest documents of the Central level, renewing the leadership and raising the combativeness of all-level Party organizations, aiming to build transparent, strong, streamlined and efficient political systems.
Hanoi and Kon Tum will intensify cooperation and exchange in training officials, especially those at commune level on information technology (IT) application in duty performance.
Additionally, both sides will expand twining activities between districts, agencies and schools of the two localities, aiming to help effectively run agencies and units for mutual development.
Under the announcement, the two localities will closely work to draw up master plans in the province and city for the period of 2021 - 2030, vision to 2045 in accordance with the Planning Law 2017 and tighten the management of construction planning.
Furthermore, Hanoi and Kon Tum will exchange experience in taking measures to improve investment environment as well as raise the Provincial Competitiveness Index (PCI).
The announcement also underlined the need for the two sides to boost coordination in introducing advantages and potentials as well as investment opportunities, and strengthen investment and trade promotion.
Also, the two localities will jointly elaborate preferential policies for production, trade, business development, investment attraction, and work out solutions to improve the efficiency of investment project management.
Via investment promotion programs, Kon Tum is expected to attract more investments from Hanoi’s enterprises in major projects on developing urban areas, industrial clusters, processing agricultural and forestry products among others.
In terms of industry and trade, Hanoi and Kon Tum will continue closely coordinating to organize supply and demand connection activities, fairs and exhibitions, promoting export and consumption of local products, strengthening the fight against counterfeit goods and smuggling, building trademarks.
Besides, the two localities will boost cooperation in fields of culture, tourism, IT, national security and defense, social security and welfare, among others.
