According to the decision, three multidisciplinary teams will be established in order to conduct inspections on food safety and hygiene from December 20, 2019 to March 25, 2020.
The teams are responsible for inspecting the direction and deployment of activities so as to ensure food safety and hygiene during New Year and Lunar New Year celebrations, and spring festivals in 2020 citywide; monitoring the enforcement of food safety and hygiene regulations in establishments producing, processing, trading and consuming food in the area.
At the same time, the inspections aim to handle or recommend functional agencies to penalize units violating food safety and hygiene regulations.
