Hanoi People’s Committee expects each department and unit to raise awareness among the public and children regarding the policies and rights of children, focusing on the all-round development of children in terms of health, nutrition, knowledge, and risk prevention for children.
Children should be equipped with skills and knowledge to cope with negative factors, said the Committee, adding each family, school, and the society must be responsible in preventing and dealing with risks and consequences from child violence and abuse, while timely notifying act of violence and abuse of children.
Moreover, it is essential to enhance efficiency in terms of state management of issues related to children, making daily supervision of children right protection at each organization, unit, department, social welfare facilities, and schools a permanent task of local authorities.
