Under the plan, Hanoi would continue to promote the new high school teaching program through the establishment of a Steering Committee.
Additionally, media organizations are tasked with reporting on individuals and groups with outstanding contribution in teaching and studying, as well as lessons learned during the implementation of the program.
Related departments and units are tasked with evaluating the current conditions and demands for teachers at each educational institution to streamline the payroll in compliance with regulations and laws, ensuring sufficient staffs and teachers to implement the high school teaching program 2018.
Each school has to evaluate the capacity of staffs and teachers in accordance with criteria of respective professions; training staffs and teachers to meet standards.
Based on the plan of the program implementation, it is necessary to identify the number of staffs and teachers subject to training and drafting the plan for training; actively cooperating with educational facilities to train staffs and teachers in compliance with plan of the Ministry of Training and Education.
Hanoi People’s Committee requested each school to review the infrastructure and teaching equipment to ensure the compliance with requirements under the proposal of teaching equipment and devices for the 2017 - 2025 period.
Notably, the Committee gives priority to investing in classroom at primary schools, ensuring two shifts per day; fulfilling the objective of building schools at national standards.
The Committee also requested schools to prepare curriculum on subjects such as culture, history, economy, society, environment, among others in Hanoi, which complement the compulsory subjects under the instruction of the Ministry of Training and Education, while conducting a survey on the implementation of current teaching programs and the preparation for the upcoming program.
