As planned, the National Action Month for HIV/AIDS prevention and control 2019 will focus on the 90-90-90 targets of the Joint United Nations Program on HIV and AIDS (UNAIDS) (90% of all people with HIV know their status; 90% of people who know their status have been treated with HIV; 90% of people on ARV treatment have a viral load below the suppression threshold, reduced the risk of transmission).
The UNAIDS 2019 Action Month, under the theme “Communities make the difference”, aims to call on the whole community to join hands in HIV and AIDS prevention and control.
The National Action Month for HIV/AIDS prevention and control 2019 is themed “Working together to end the AIDS epidemic”.
A wide range of activities will be held during the action month, such as conferences, workshops, communication campaigns on HIV/AIDS prevention and control.
Notably, the meetings will be held throughout the city to respond to the National Action Month for HIV/AIDS prevention and control, and World AIDS Day.
