Knowledge competition to teach young generation on 90 year history of Vietnam’s Communist Party (10:35 20/09/2019)
Under the form of multiple choice questions, the competition is held on the social network VCNET at the website address http://vcnet.vn, and which is open to participants on a weekly basis, with the first week of competition taking place on August 26, 2019 and the final week on December 30, 2019.
The competition was launched in late August by this the Commission of Communication and Education of the CPV as part of a series of events towards the celebration of the 90th anniversary of the foundation of the Party.
Each round of competition would start from 10:00 a.m on Monday until 9:00 a.m of the next Monday.
Following the document, the municipal Commission for Communication and Education requested all party’s organizations at commune and district level, social and political organizations, municipal Department of Information and Communication, and the media to promote and participate in the competition.
The Department of Information and Communication is tasked with requesting media outlets to report about the competition and open specialized columns on the 90 year history of the CPV.
To register an account, user could access the link http://vcnet.vn or download the VCNET app to smartphone. By accessing the website or the app, the user could quickly register an account by following the registration process.
After having registered an account, users can click on the banner of the competition on the http://vcnet.vn website; or click on the banner of the competition on the following websites CPV online newspaper (www.dangconsan.vn); Nhan Dan online newspaper (www.nhandan.org.vn); Tuyen Giao online newspaper (www.tuyengiao.vn); Quan Doi Nhan Dan online newspaper (www.qdnd.vn); the governmental portal (www.chinhphu.vn); Tien Phong online newspaper (www.tienphong.vn); Thanh Nien online newspaper (www.thanhnien.vn); Tuoi Tre online newspaper (www.tuoitre.vn); Vietnamnet online newspaper (www.vietnamnet.vn), among others.
For each week, the organizer of the competition would set up a number of multiple choice questions on the history of the CPV, as well as Vietnam’s achievements during the reform process under the leadership of CPV.
Once completing all the questions, users must predict the number of people choosing the right answer and then click on “complete”.
In case of having more than one participant providing the right answer and the exact number of people having the right answer, the organizer would award prize to participant with the fastest answer.
There would be four prizes for each round of competition, including the first prize worth VND5 million (US$216), two second prizes worth VND3 million (US$130) each, three third prizes worth VND2 million (US$86) each, and five consolation prizes worth VND1 million (US$43) each.
The result of the weekly competition would be updated on VCNET, CPV online newspaper, Tuyen Giao online newspaper and medias on 12:00 p.m Monday at the latest.
