Accordingly, Hanoi and Da Nang will intensify cooperation and exchange in building the Party and political system, especially in realizing directives, resolutions and latest documents of the Central level while learning from each other’s experiences in renewing and improving the leadership and combativeness of the Party; building clean and strong administration, Fatherland Front, political and social organizations, and training cadres and civil servants.
The two cities will share experience in building e-government and smart city; promoting information technology (IT) application and online public services; piloting urban administration models; and making concrete policies and mechanisms in localities.
Both sides agreed to learn each other’s experience in public administration, policies and mechanisms formulation in fields that they hold strengths, such as planning, urban development and management, smart city and e-government, science and technology, IT application, startups, administrative reform, land management and taxation, among others.
Hanoi and Da Nang will also jointly organize investment promotion activities, create optimal conditions for the two localities’ businesses to seek investment opportunities in areas, call on investments in industrial parks and hi-tech zones so as to attract strategic investors, elaborate investment promotion programs and plans in biotechnology and IT industry.
The two cities will support each other in urban planning and management towards sustainable development; building and completing urban spatial data infrastructure to serve the urban planning work; carrying out investment dossiers for urban infrastructure projects and major works.
Besides, Hanoi and Da Nang will jointly enhance links in commodity consumption among northern and southern provinces; expand logistics services; strengthen the application of smart traffic system; and implement programs on climate change response.
