The Section will inspect implementation of Law on Food Safety, measures to increase inspection and examination of food safety during the Lunar New Year, and management, preparation and organization of upcoming Spring Festival 2019.
Accordingly, the inspection will focus on popularization and education, improving awareness of traffic safety, compliance with traffic safety law, responsibility of organizations and individuals dealing with food, and consumers’ awareness; state management and compliance of food safety regulations in the field of food production and trading, food preservation, transport, production and trading of fresh food, and street food; inspection, examination, and handling of violations in the field of food safety.
In terms of festival organization, the Section will inspect instruction to build plan and organize the festivals; management, preparation of the festival, food safety, safety and order, fire safety and traffic safety during the festivals.
In terms of traffic safety, the Section will focus on implementation of legal regulations on traffic safety during the Lunar New Year; popularization and education of traffic safety law, responsibility of food producers and traders; consumers’ awareness, state management and compliance with regulations on food safety in food production and trading; food preservation; fresh food transport, manufacturing and trading; street food.
The inspection will be conducted from January 24 to February 15, 2019 on the basis of reports of Department of Industry and Trade, Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, Department of Health, Department of Culture and Sports, and inspection sessions in certain districts and towns.
