Accordingly, the city establishes three interdisciplinary inspection teams to check food safety on Tet holidays and spring festivals in 2019. Inspection campaigns are scheduled to be implemented in 30 districts, towns from December 28th, 2018 to March 29th, 2019.
The three teams are in charge of launching activities to ensure food safety on Tet holidays and spring festivals in districts, towns citywide.
The teams focus on monitoring the implementation of food safety regulations in facilities manufacturing, processing, trading and consuming foods to serve Tet in localities; recommending treatment or handling violations as regulated by Law on Food Safety; give reports on results, recommendations to the Steering Committee on Food Safety and Hygiene for a report to the Municipal Party Committee and the People’s Committee.
