Accordingly, the Department of Education and Training will take prime responsibility and cooperate with relevant departments, sectors, agencies, and People’s Committees of districts and towns to implement key tasks, including:
Popularizing and directing education facilities to strictly carry out Directive No. 2919/CT-BGDDT dated August 10th, 2018 of the Ministry of Education and Training; focusing on reviewing, planning, and developing the network of education facilities; paying special attention to developing preschools in industrial parks and processing zones;
Making plans, solutions to recognize national standard schools to 2020; dealing with the lack of schools or classrooms in several downtown districts; evaluating results and proposing solutions to build high quality schools to 2020; building and upgrading schools, toilets, planting more trees so as to create green, clean, safe environment.
Preparing conditions, enhancing facilities and teaching, studying equipments to carry out new educational programs and textbooks as planned; effectively implementing the School Milk Program to improve physical stature of preschool and primary school children in the period of 2018 to 2020;
Strictly implementing regulations on monthly evaluation of officials, civil servants and employees in public education establishments; renewing contents, methods of vocational education associated with local production and trade; directing the enrollment in grade 10 as planned by the city.
Departments, sectors, and agencies, basing on functions and assigned missions, will coordinate with the Department of Education and Training to deploy missions of the 2018-2019 school year as requested.
People’s Committees of districts and towns in collaboration with the Department of Education and Training will ask Divisions of Education and Training to well carry out missions of the 2018-2019 school year while enhancing inspection to prevent negative expressions and handling violation cases.
