Accordingly, implementing the direction of the Prime Minister on settling the proposal of the Viet Nam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) after a national conference on sustainable development in 2018.
Ministries, ministry-level agencies under the Government, People’s Committees of provinces, centrally-run cities to strictly implement the PM’s direction at the conference.
The Ministry of Investment and Planning will take prime responsibility to research, settle the VCCI’s proposal on draft law on public private partnerships (PPPs), and concerned issues of businesses’ sustainable development environment, and application of a sustainable business index; give a report to the PM before December 31st, 2018.
Ministries of Science and Technology, Natural Resources and Environment, Industry and Trade, Transport, Information and Communications, Education and Training, Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs, basing on functions and assigned missions, will consider and settle the VCCI’s proposals on taking the full use of the fourth industrial revolution, promoting economic circulation, improving environment, management in logistic, upgrading domestic infrastructure to strengthen connectivity with the market in the region and the world, strengthening vocational training, etc.
Regarding the above matter, the Municipal People’s Committee assigned departments, sectors, agencies, People’s Committees of districts, suburban districts, towns to strictly grasp the PM’s direction at Official Letter No. 8210/VPCP-KGVX dated August 30th, 2018 of the Government Office; effectively implement assigned missions at Official Letter No. 4063/UBND-KT dated August 31st, 2018 of the Municipal People’s Committee on major contents according to the PM’s direction, and Announcement No. 254/TB-VPCP dated August 30th, 2018.
The Department of Investment and Planning will take prime responsibility and coordinate with the Institute of Socio-Economic Research and Development to recommend contents relating to the VCCI’s proposals; give a report to the Municipal People’s Committee as regulated.
