To focus on new style rural area construction in difficult villages in association with sustainable poverty reduction (14:07 03/09/2018)


HNP – The Ha Noi People’s Committee Office has recently issued Official Letter No. 6603/VP-KT on requesting relevant departments and sectors to carry out the conclusion of Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue at the conference on building new style rural areas in difficult villages in association with sustainable poverty reduction. 


Accordingly, implementing Official Letter No. 289/TB-VPCP dated August 14th, 2018 of the Government Office on stating the conclusion of the Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue on building new style rural areas in hamlets and villages in association with sustainable poverty reduction, especially targets of the project on helping difficult communes in border areas, mountainous areas, seashores, coastal areas and islands, it also emphasizes that building new style rural areas  must be in association with sustainable poverty reduction via many works and programs, etc.
 
Localities are tasked to focus on directing and launching emulation movements to mobilize all resources to fulfill targets of the National Target Program on building new style rural areas by 2020; bringing into full play the role of residential communities to select and carry out practical works and contents to serve local people in combination with scientific and technological application programs and industrial promotion models. 
 
Party Committees and authorities at all levels must consider the implementation of the project as key mission of the Program, contributing to fulfilling the targets by 2020, especially supporting resources for villages and hamlets in accordance with targets set in the project; promote the role of local people and communities in developing villages and hamlets. 
 
Regarding the above-mentioned mission, the Municipal People’s Committee assigned the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to take prime responsibility and cooperate with relevant departments, sectors to implement as regulated; recommend and report contents beyond their authority to the Municipal People’s Committee for further consideration and settlement.
