Accordingly, 100% of People’s Committees of districts, suburban districts, towns release plans on organizing activities for children and make sure that all of them enjoy the festival.
On the occasion of the Mid-autumn Full Moon Festival 2018, localities will focus on strengthening the popularization of the topic “For a safe and healthy life for children”; enhancing prevention and control of negative impact on children, child violence and abuse; effectively carrying out policies and programs for children.
It is expected that the Mid-autumn Full Moon Festival 2018 takes place at 8.00 pm on September 20th, 2018 in Hoang Mai District.
Units are planed to review and grasp data on children in general and those in difficult circumstances in particular to take care of them on the occasion of the festival; visit and present gifts to needy children in the city.
Meanwhile, departments, sectors, agencies, People’s Committees of districts, towns are assigned to instruct the organization of the festival’s fantastic activities, such as music performances, folk games, sports, etc. at cultural centers, entertainment locations in communities.
More efforts must be increased to strengthen communication on child protection and care on mass media to ensure children’s basic rights; timely praise good individuals who give assistance to needy children; enhance inspection of food safety and hygiene for special food to serve the festival; prevent and strictly handle violation cases as stipulated by laws.
