Accordingly, the Municipal People’s Committee received a document of the Department of Construction on reporting the implementation of the directions of the Municipal People’s Committee on recycling and reusing construction solid waste in the area.

The Department of Construction proposed the Municipal People’s Committee implementing following tasks: For proposals of investment in projects on applying construction waste reuse and recycling technologies, the Municipal People’s Committee assigned the Department of Investment and Planning to review the progress of each project and urge investors to implement as scheduled.

The Department of Finance is tasked to take prime responsibility and cooperate with the Department of Construction and relevant departments, sectors to consider price plans of construction solid waste treatment services.

For projects funded by the budget, the Department of Investment and Planning will take prime responsibility and cooperate with the Department of Finance to research and propose mechanisms which allow investors to supplement the cost of processing and recycling construction waste by grinding technologies into the estimates.

The Department of Construction will continue clarifying the building of standards and material standards for products from grinding technology with the Ministry of Construction; inspecting  the  implementation of regulations on management of environmental pollution; reviewing and giving a report to the Municipal People’s Committee to allow the temporary application to recycle crushed materials if it meets standards of current construction materials.

The Municipal People’s Committee asked departments in charge of managing construction to approve fund sources and estimates of construction investment projects in the area.

Regarding to the above matter, the Municipal People’s Committee assigned units to carry out its direction at Official Letter No. 1096/UBND-DT dated March 16th, 2018 of the Municipal People’s Committee on management, application of advanced technologies in recycling and reusing construction solid waste.

The Municipal People’s Committee assigned the Department of Construction to act as standing agency to urge and report to the Municipal People’s Committee.
