Under the document, the municipal People's Committee agreed with the municipal Department of Education and Training's Proposal No. 4095/TTr-SGDDT dated November 26, 2021 to allow students in senior high schools (from 10th to 12th grades), vocational training institutions and centers for continuing education in 30 districts and wards which reported no COVID-19 infections for two weeks by November 30 to resume face-to-face teaching.
Students from first to eighth grades will keep attending online schooling, and children at pre-school age will stay at home.
The Department of Education and Training asked all schools to strictly implement COVID-19 prevention and control measures. Teachers who haven’t been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 will teach online only and in-classroom students will attend classes only in the morning or afternoon instead of the whole day.
During the process, the district-level Steering Committees for COVID-19 Prevention and Control will consider the adjustments and suspension of in-person learning if necessary.
