Accordingly, the municipal People’s Committee assigned the Hanoi Investment, Trade, Tourism Centre (HPA) to take prime responsibility for organizing the event.
Departments of Tourism, Culture and Sports; Health; Transport; Public Security; district-level People’s Committees; Hanoi Television and Radio, Hanoi Moi (New Hanoi) newspaper; Kinh te & Do thi (Economic and Urban) newspaper; Hanoi Tourism Association; Vietnam Airlines; Vietjet Air, Vietravel Airlines; and others will cooperate with the HPA to respond to the event.
The festival is expected to take place in three days, from April 16 to 18 at the King Ly Thai To area, at Nha Bat Giac (Octagon House), Le Thach street, Le Lai street and the Hanoi Children's Palace (Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi.
Especially, the tourist area will introduce products, destinations and tours, as well as special offers on tours, hotels, air tickets.
The festival aims to introduce the city’s culinary culture and respond to the domestic tourism stimulus program themed “Vietnamese people travel to Vietnam” which is launched by the Government as the COVID-19 pandemic has been under control.
Under the theme “Hanoians traveling in Hanoi", the 2021 Hanoi Tourism and Cuisine Culture Festival will also focus on promoting Hanoi’s image as" Safe - Friendly - Quality – Attractive", while boosting the recovery of domestic tourism after the COVID-19 pandemic.
The festival will encourage the people of the capital to visit attractive destinations in the inner city of Hanoi and in districts such as Son Tay, Ba Vi, Soc Son, and Dong Anh.
The Hanoi culinary space will introduce some outstanding dishes and specialties of the capital such as Hanoi’s pho (noodle soup), cha ca (grilled fish), bun thang (rice vermicelli with chicken, egg and pork), and Hanoi’s coffee.
