The directive noted there have been cases of Covid-19 infection due to the irresponsibility and untruthful declaration of a number of people, as well as the lack of commitment from local authorities.
In this regard, Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee Chu Ngoc Anh requested all localities to better control the pandemic situation in each infection cluster, while the municipal Department of Health, and districts to complete reviewing anti-pandemic measures for those returning from Danang. The testing process should be completed and reported back to the municipal People’s Committee on May 17 at the latest.
The Department of Health would actively carry out random test in the community as part of the city’s preventive measures.
The Management Board of industrial parks in Hanoi and related authorities are expected to complete the list of high-risk groups, which should be sent to the health authorities before May 17.
Each district and ward should continue reviewing people residing in these areas to assess the risk of Covid-19 infection.
Hanoi’s authorities also requested stricter management of quarantine zones in line with regulations and laws, avoiding cross-infection in these areas.
The Department of Transportation is tasked with instructing transportation companies to record health information of all passengers in public transportation.
Leaders at each provinces/cities should deal with those violating regulations against Covid-19 accordingly and follow instruction from the municipal People’s Committee in this regard.
