Compulsory e-health declaration to ensure community safety (22:03 01/06/2021)


HNP - The Hanoi People’s Committee promulgated Official Letter No. 1647/UBND-KGVX on May 29, regarding persons subject to mandatory electronic health declarations.


Accordingly, the municipal People’s Committee ordered compulsory electronic health declarations for all people entering, leaving or transiting Vietnam; those living in virus-hit areas, those returning from pandemic-stricken areas, those being under concentrated quarantine, those working in factories and industrial parks located in COVID-19-affected provinces and neighboring localities, those visiting medical facilities, and those traveling by plane, train, ship, or bus for long distances.
 
The declaration could be made on the website http://www.suckhoetoandan.vn/khaiyte, or mobile apps like Vietnam Health Declaration, and Bluezone.
 
The municipal People’s Committee underlined the necessity to strengthen communication on COVID-19 efforts under diversified ways, while calling on all citizens to make health declarations.
 
If showing signs of cough, fever, shortness of breath or signs of suspected coronavirus infections, they must self-isolate and immediately notify local medical units for guidance on COVID-19 surveillance and testing.
 
Competent authorities are requested to enhance inspection and strictly punish those who violate pandemic prevention and control rules in accordance with Decree No. 117/2020/ND-CP dated September 28, 2020 of the Government on sanctioning of administrative violations in health sector.
 
Since the fourth wave of outbreaks hit the country on April 27, Hanoi has confirmed 165 local COVID-19 cases cases in 22 districts. Of them, 46 cases are linked to a coronavirus cluster in Da Nang city, 43 are related to the hotspot at T&T company (No.2 Pham Su Manh Street, Hoan Kiem District), 23 have to do with the cluster in the northern province of  Bac Ninh, 14 linked the K Hospital’s Tan Trieu facility, 8 are linked to a cluster in the northern province of Hung Yen, one to the outbreak in the northern province of Hai Duong, and ten linked other COVID-19 hotspots.
