Hanoi approves merger, naming and renaming of hamlets and residential areas in 2020 (09:17 05/03/2020)
Under the decision, Ba Dinh District will establish 136 residential areas on the basis of merging 300 civil groups.
Cau Giay District will merge 142 residential areas so as to set up 74 new civil groups.
Similarly, the number of civil groups in Dong Da District after merging 866 residential areas is 337. Six new groups will be established after the merger of 11 residential areas in Ha Dong District.
As many as 742 residential areas will be merged so as to set up 242 new ones in Hai Ba Trung District.
Meanwhile, Hoang Mai District will establish 223 civil groups after the merging of 574 residential areas.
Long Bien District will merge 156 civil groups and set up 76 new ones. 95 civil groups will be established on the basis of merging 293 ones in Tay Ho District.
Thanh Xuan District will set up 82 new civil groups by merging 82 ones. Ung Hoa District will also merge eight hamlets to establish four new ones.
Besides, a total of 226 civil groups will be renamed, including: Ba Dinh (46), Cau Giay (37), Dong Da (26), Hai Ba Trung (17), Hoang Mai (89), Tay Ho (11).
According to the decision, district/township People’s Committees are tasked to guide People’s Committees at ward level to disseminate the guideline among local people, and finish the designation of titles of hamlets and civil groups as stipulated by law.
The city’s entities are in charge of working with People’s Committee at all levels to deal with administrative dossiers so as to timely ensure legitimate rights and interests of people living in newly-founded residential areas.
