Under the document, the Hanoi’s Department of Justice would support the municipal People’s Committee in setting up procedures on processing death, birth, and marriage registration forms in Hanoi; integrating essential services related to civil status into the national online public services portal and the city’s online public services portal since July 1, 2022.
In addition, the Department would cooperate with the people’s committees at districts and wads to process requests from the people via national online public services portal and the city’s online public services portal regarding the registration of birth, death and marriage, avoid any delay or request of unnecessary information.
All related agencies are expected to support the people’s committees at district- and ward levels in ensuring effective processing of administrative procedures on the national online public services portal and the city’s online public services portal, and report back to the Ministry of Justice or the Hanoi People’s Committee for any issue.
The Hanoi’s Department of Information and Communications would ensure the smooth operation of the city’s public services portal in accordance with the law, while cooperating with the police in ensuring data protection during the process.
The Office of the Hanoi People’s Committee would cooperate with other agencies in promoting the use of online public services for civil status registration among the public.
The Department of Information and Communications would work with other agencies in drafting manual on the use of the online one-stop-shop information system in connection with the national database, and guidance for the use of national online public services portal, among others.
