The project defines the tasks, contents, solutions, impacts and benefits of innovation and technology transfer for socio-economic development.
The project consists of 6 groups, namely the research on theoretical basis, policy and practical experience on innovation, application of technology transfer, dissemination and training of knowledge about innovation, science and technology; the survey of demand and supply for high-tech agriculture and agriculture 4.0; study the current status of technology application in agricultural production in Hanoi; the position and role of socio-political organizations, socio-professional organizations and affiliated scientific and technological organizations in promoting innovation, application of technology transfer and dissemination of knowledge, science and technology in the new context; the research and proposal of integrated solutions to promote innovation, application of technology transfer, dissemination and training of knowledge on science and technology.
Within the framework of the project, 10 seminars will take place about promoting innovation, applying technology transfer, disseminating and training knowledge about science and technology. In addition, related agencies are tasked with completing a report on the implementation of the project and submit to the city’s leaders.
According to the City People's Committee, over the past time, science, technology and innovation activities of Hanoi have been paid great attention by the municipal Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee, which led to many remarkable results and made important contributions to socio-economic development.
Hanoi, therefore, has affirmed its role as the leading center of science, technology and innovation of the whole country.
Notably, in the field of agriculture and rural development, up to now, the whole city has 164 models of agricultural production applying high technology. There are 20 enterprises investing in producing vegetables, flowers and fruit trees, producing high-tech rice varieties; 9 enterprises of animal husbandry, aquaculture, preliminary processing and consumption of high-tech agricultural products.
