During the visit, Secretary of the municipal Party Committee Dinh Tien Dung and his comrades respectfully bowed in remembrance and expressed deep gratitude to revolutionary predecessors, heroes and martyrs for their contributions and sacrifices for the independence and freedom of the nation, and for the happiness of the People.
The leaders of the city vowed to continue the patriotic and heroic tradition of the nation, promote the spirit of solidarity, determination to spur the city’s further development.
With the combination of both national and international resources, they stressed their commitment to building and developing the capital for it to realize its role as the national political-administrative hub, amajor center of economy, culture, education and training, science and technology and international integration.
Hanoi would become a smart, modern, green, clean, beautiful, secure and safe city as set in the Politburo's Resolution No. 15-NQ/TU, dated 5/5/2022 on vision for Hanoi’s development.
On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2022), the delegation also offered incense to commemorate the predecessors, revolutionary leaders, senior leaders of the Party and State, heroes and martyrs at Mai Dich Cemetery, Nhon Martyr Cemetery and Ngoc Hoi Martyr Cemetery.
