The 2020 Spring Book Street, taking place from January 27 to February 3 (the third to tenth day of the Lunar New Year), aims to create a cultural destination among local people and foreigners.
This year’s event features more than 20 booths of publishing houses and book distributors, along with some others showcasing cultural items for the longest and most important annual festival such as Tet newspapers, calligraphic works and folk paintings.
During the eight-day event, visitors will have a chance to join various activities such as making chung cake, creating “to he” (toy figurines made from rice dough), playing xiangqi, and drawing folk paintings, while enjoying musical, magic and circus performances, among others.
The event is expected to be an attractive cultural destination among locals and visitors on the occasion of Lunar New Year 2020.
