According to Chairman of the Ha Noi Journalists’ Association To Quang Phan, for many years, the Ha Noi Spring Press Festival has become an important political and cultural event of both the Central and local press agencies in the capital.

This year, the Spring Press Festival features 25 pavilions by numerous press agencies in the city. The publications, including magazines, printed and pictorial editions, audio and television products and online newspapers, are presented vividly with diverse contents.
The event highlights outstanding achievements of the country and the capital in all fields: economics, politics, society, security, national defence, culture and external affairs, as well as forecasts and orientations in 2019.

At the opening ceremony, the Ha Noi Journalists’ Association presented 2018 Ngo Tat To Press Awards to the most outstanding journalists, including 2 first, 3 second, and 4 third and 20 consolation prizes.
Standing Vice Chairman of the Viet Nam Journalists’ Association Ho Quang Loi, and Vice Chairman of the Ha Noi People’s Committee Ngo Van Quy present two first prizes to the Ha Noi Moi (New Ha Noi) Newspapers, and the Ha Noi Radio Television.
