The event was attended by Ngo Thi Thanh Hang, member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Ha Noi Party Committee; Nguyen Duc Chung, member of the Party Central Committee and Chairman of the Municipal People’s Committee.
In attendance were Israeli Ambassador Nadav Eshcar, and representatives of ministries, sectors, and agencies.
Addressing the event, Chairman of the Municipal People’s Committee Nguyen Duc Chung said that the event will introduce vertical rice farming techniques, remote control drip irrigation, and atmospheric water generation technologies to the public in Ha Noi in particular and Viet Nam in general.
These advanced technologies can help Viet Nam and Ha Noi to research and take solutions to change urban appearance and raise the capacity of hi-tech agriculture in the area.
In addition to display of Israel’s unique and pioneering technologies, many unique art shows imbued with Israel’s traditional identities are performed by Israeli artists.
Chairman Nguyen Duc Chung also thanked Israeli Ambassador Nadav Eshcar as well as Israel’s Watergen company for presenting the city with two atmospheric water generators, which have a capacity of producing 700 litres of water per day.

According to the Chairman, the Municipal People’s Committee in cooperation with the Embassy of Israel will organize a conference “Viet Nam - Israel businesses in application of high technology agriculture” so as to strengthen trade connectivity and help Vietnamese enterprises to enhance investment promotion and cooperation with Israel.
At the opening ceremony, Israeli Ambassador Nadav Eshcar affirmed that the event will contribute to elevating the Viet Nam – Israel ties.
He also believed that there is enormous potential to the relations with Viet Nam.
It is expected that the program will last until November 27th, 2018.
