The Online Friday 2016 takes place at the pedestrian streets around Ly Thai To Square, from 6pm on December 1 to 3.
On the sideline of the event, 25 pavilions feature numerous promotional programs and activities providing opportunities for visitors to experience unique technologies. The events are expected to attract around 40,000 customers.
Visitors to the event will have a chance to participate in the technology demonstration activities, shopping online through e-commerce applications as well as games to receive a promotional code at the pavilions.

Jointly organized by Viet Nam E-Commerce and Information Technology Agency, Viet Nam E-commerce Association, VnExpress Newspaper, FPT Online and NAPAs, the event aims at raising people’s awareness of online shopping and boosting community engagement in the sector, creating opportunities for customers to use high-quality products at promotional rates.
On the occasion, the website deal.onlinefriday.vn, selling products at hugely discounted prices, was officially activated. In addition, the online shopping website onlinefriday.vn will go live within 24 hours from 12am on December 2.
The revenue from this year’s event is expected to reach VND1 trillion, two times higher than the last year and six times higher than 2014.
